Emergency Response in a Time of Need

During these troubling times, especially in their home base of New York, there was a call to action for Crye Precision by the local government to help answer the need for medical PPE that was, and still is, so needed by first responders. Together, with the help of the Brooklyn Navy Yard and some of its other tenants, Crye Precision was able to quickly design a reusable surgical gown. They contacted their excellent domestic fabric supply chain partners to help them source the necessary materials that would meet the specifications for the medical community. The same fabric partners that they rely on for their normal product line were key to making their efforts a reality and they are indebted to them.

In response to the growing need for these medical products, Crye Precision has been able to produce 30,000 units per week for the New York area first responders.

Inkcups’ Labeling Solutions

Crye Precision acquired an Inkcups pad printer a couples of years ago to handle some specific labeling requirements of a particular customer. It was their immediate solution for the high-volume PPE production that they were facing and have been instrumental in their output. Currently, Crye Precision is using 1 pad printer in-house (B150 Large Image Pad Printer) and 2 others in their New Jersey manufacturing facility.
